Repair Steps: A. The first step is to locate the leak. To do this, immerse the Gore-tex garment in water for a short time and then inspect the inside for any wet spots.

B. Turn the Gore-tex garment inside out and use a dry cloth to clean the damaged area that needs repair.

C. It is recommended to cover the seam tape with a piece of paper or cloth to protect both the iron and the tape during the repair process.

D. Use a household iron at a moderate temperature (302°F-320°F) to patch the inside of the 3-layer fabric. Enclosed adhesive tape should be applied to cover small tears and holes, ensuring it is 2/5" larger. Place the adhesive side down over the hole and apply medium to hard pressure for 10-15 seconds.

E. Once the seam tape has cooled down, check for any loose edges. If necessary, use the iron again to secure them. The repaired area should look similar to the taped seams inside the garment.
